there are only two kinds of fediverse instance hostname: those that have “.social” as a suffix, and those that have “social.” as a prefix

really enjoying pinafore.social. it's an alternative web ui (webclient) for mastodon servers and it's so refreshingly simple, lightweight and fast compared to the clunkiness of the standard mastodon ui. i'm using it because my server's running gotosocial which doesn't have its own built-in webclient like mastodon does, but now that i've tried it, i don't want to use the standard mastodon ui again!
