free idea: visual novel where the background images become covered in animated white noise to represent visual snow, but the noise is run through a real-time neural denoising algorithm so that you start to see literal hallucinations
oops my high-frequency hearing is oversensitised rn i definitely did wear out my ears yesterday that's not good (but i was aware i was doing it at least)
9 hours ago, i wrote and published a new blog post called “the tragedy of recorded music”. written from the heart as usual
it feels more than a little bit incomplete, will probably go back and extend it a bit at some point, but i knew i had to put it out then lest i put out nothing at all
i genuinely am a more fulfilled, more self-actualised, more interesting and, yes, surely more importantly also a more functional human being when (mildly?) hypomanic, entirely non-illusorily. it's really quite bizarre
i think i like how the gibson les paul looks only insofar as it looks kinda like a telecaster and the less telecaster it is the less i like how it looks
i'm probably soon going to want to do retrobriting on a ~2010 guitar pickguard. is that like. correct. is that an appropriate process for that type of plastic. i'm only familiar with its use on retro computer plastics which are a different historical era
i know nobody clicks on my music links but someone i know wrote this 7 years ago and it's cool as shit so i'm going to post it anyway https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncTlCXkNNug
romantic, romantic, romantic

imagine the things this mind could do if applied to climate change or something. instead it… well… i mean i guess being able to play super monkey ball (2008, iphone) on a windows pc in hd with analogue controls is kind of cool
