i think the body has a need to dance, to sing, and to play an instrument
blessed be whoever added the midi controller support to rpcs3 so you can use an ordinary usb midi device in rock band 3 without needing a mad catz rb3 midi pro adapter. the yamaha pss-a50 works nicely with it
it's arrived and, heh, a huge parcel containing an electric guitar is actually really easy to carry under one's shoulder. i was afraid it wouldn't be, but i guess it is just a guitar in a box after all!
finally having a phone with usb-c is fucking magical, i can just connect my midi keyboard or my zoom multi-effect pedal or my audio interface or my midi interface… directly to my phone. without special cables or adapters… i can use the same hub as for my laptop, it Just Works
local girl gets into guitar and, barely even able to play the instrument and already struggling with having to maintain it, immediately obtains another even more difficult to maintain guitar
i got my new sony xperia 10 vi just now, and she's just as lovely as i dared hope. feels in the hand like it was handed down from heavens as the one true android phone… perhaps
(yes, the hull is plastic!, yes, it has a 3.5mm jack, microsd+sim slot, usb-c, & fingerprint sensor!)
bandcamp please implement 3-d secure already so your european customers don't have to fight with their banks like this
friend of mine made this really cool enter shikari / monogatari amv https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57db__h_9Qg
i played a bit of rock band 3 for the first time today, specifically the wii version running in dolphin, and it's nothing short of amazing how much it looks and feels like a ps3 or xbox 360 title even on the wii, the artstyle was clearly designed for it and somehow backported
feel like lack of context has really held back my music taste for a long time, you cannot build a music taste on isolated bangers randomly plucked from the ocean of all recorded music by the curatorial hand, human or not; you need to build a relationship with an artist or scene
