my japanese is improving a lot lately from doing just two things:

• watching anime unsubtitled, listening repeatedly and looking up every word i don't know until i understand, adding them to an anki deck
• watching anime subtitled, occasionally looking up interesting words

starting a fan wiki for a beloved series where i put "current status: dead" in the infobox for every character just to create anguish and resentment among the people who haven't seen the ending yet and don't know i just made shit up

need to figure out how to trick myself into learning guitar in a way my autodidact ego won't be injured by

there is no pot of gold at the end of the scroll, there is no reward, arrest, arrest the scrolling, back out, do something, anything

time to rewatch/catch up with the entire monogatari series

everyone i say this to seems to disagree with me, but i maintain that the guitar is easier to play melodies on than the keyboard, at least for me
