there's this funny thing going on with my guitar arc where, right from the start, i refused to learn it pedagogically and just wanted to throw my very semitonepilled brain at the strings with no direction. half a year of little progress later i got fed up and bought actual books…

hell is complex tools (this is the preface to a rant branching off from that smartphone thread)

so, four months ago i got a new smartphone. i was excited to have a fully-working, modern, usable device.

then a bit less than three months after getting it, i smashed the screen absentmindedly, and had to send it off for repair

so in the meantime i had to use this other phone:

clip of me noodling on my favourite acoustic guitar (capo on first fret)

it is the middle of summer and as much as i like satin/matte/natural finishes, i am glad this guitar is encased in what seems like thick plastic because god i need to clean the parts that make contact with my skin constantly!

might get into city pop in five years when everyone's completely forgotten the late-2010s city pop youtube thing
