whyyyyy are there servers on the fediverse that enforce case-sensitivity for username lookups
that feeling of doubt when you try the third time and it doesn’t look up “@ my friend’s name @ cool instance dot generic tld” and then the dread as you realise it is in fact “@ My Friend’s Name @ cool instance dot generic tld”
hmm ok I think this might be an issue with pinafore.social, doing a webfinger worked
