android is the clown car os. you’re tumbling down the hill and must stop, but first you have to pick one of the two brake pedals. one is drab, functional, slightly broken, unmaintained for 10 years. the other is clown-themed and sends all your data to google.

this post brought to you by me realising that sms messages being ATTRIBUTED TO THE WRONG SENDERS on my phone is a bug in the aosp messages app, and it’s simply my fault for choosing “messaging” rather than “messages”, because of course

@hikari no clown car manufacturer will service any part of the car after two years, because that's when the producer of the giant oversized novelty horn stops supporting their parts. They also have a worldwide monopoly on giant oversized novelty horns.
