bizarrely, GitHub do not allow 4-byte UTF-8 sequences in the display name field specifically. sucks to be you if your name isn’t encodable in the Basic Multilingual Plane…

now that GitHub is going all-in on ML, I assume they’ll be forced to change this once the leadership realise they’ll be tortured for all eternity for failing to allow use of U+20R0K0 SYMBOL OF DEVOTION TO THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE in display names
@hikari can you trick it via CESU-8? (basically UTF-16 first and then UTF-8 each pair)
