are there any music players out there that simulate stereo when listening in binaural? some music has hard panning that sounds good on speakers but not with headphones, but I listen almost exclusively with headphones, so stereo simulation would be handy
this thought prompted by me listening to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYYRH4apXDo (the official music video for Space Oddity), which has a lot of hard panning
binaural effects are cool but unfortunately, perhaps since my earphones break every few months, I might be overly sensitive to when a part is much quieter (or not present) in one ear than the other. or maybe the recording was never designed for headphones, who knows.
@hikari Have you tried the AirPods “Spatialise stereo” with optional head tracking option? It should work system wide.
@kanongil I don't use wireless earphones, unfortunately
