update on the flip-phone that runs Android 11 (it's a CAT S22 Flip)
it is ridiculously heavy and thick because it's a ruggedised phone, and the screen is tiny so it's not the most practical as a smartphone, but it's probably the best phone I've had, like, for making calls
I don't remember to charge it every day so I think it can last like 48 or 72 hours without a charge. and the other day I had a very long phone call on this thing in pristine quality.
there is only one serious problem: some of the physical buttons register twice when pressed 😭
also god, me owning this specific phone and talking about it here probably destroys any OPSEC i had lmao
@hikari I'm enjoying your phone saga because I'm one of those folks who misses smaller phones, or phones with a more interesting form factor.
Always interesting to read about hands-on experience with uncommon phone types nowadays!
