i changed the nginx configuration of my gotosocial instance again, maybe my posts will be delivered more reliably now 🤞
@hikari have you considered: upgrading GtS itself
@eta I intend to do that eventually. the thing is, I had a temporary nginx hack to avoid my server getting overloaded, but it was a quite blunt instrument and probably caused lots of servers to fail to fetch my posts. in later releases gts got better at handling load and i upgraded to one such release, but didn't remove the nginx hack, and only recently did i realise i probably should
@eta afaict there's not much in the most recent release (relative to the release i'm currently running) that would be relevant to this?
@hikari from the release notes, they maybe improved caching a tad?
