@saagar i yolo-upgraded my server to a gotosocial trunk snapshot and now the federation with one of my friends' instances is unfucked
@hikari I have been running nixos-unstable for very similar reasons
@saagar i'm supposedly going to switch to lunix in the near future so i'll need to decide on which questionably stable nightmare distro to use
@saagar one possibility is that i make my own exciting new nightmare distro, but i'm already at risk of open-source maintainer burnout
@hikari You can make a closed-source distro, except I guess you’d have to provide the source if you ever gave it to anyone. So don’t distrib–wait
