i love that my server literally runs out of disk space on a regular basis because the fediverse instance software it's running can't regulate the size of its media cache. i love disappearing from the internet for hours at a time. i
@hikari It’s worth checking if it really is the media cache. My GoToSocial kept running out of space and it turned out it was the log files! Adding caps on those made the disk space pretty much constant over the last few months. Then again, you have a lot more outbound media than I do…
@jrose it's the remote media cache. every time my server runs out of space i have to clear it.
@hikari can write a systemd-tmpfiles rule that fixes it automatically if it is merely a matter of deleting stuff automatically after too long since access or such
