weird to realise i've willingly embraced chat systems that don't have /me and haven't thought about it in years. i used to consider that a basic feature!
the death of irc is sad but i can't say it's undeserved

@hikari Somehow, Discord technically supports `/me` iirc, but technically all that really does is make the following text italics
@hikari I’m still using irc to communicate with certain groups… by locally bridging it to Telegram lol
