ahhhh i need to write more about beautiful things. i can't let all this joy stay trapped in my head. all my regrets about my online presence will surely go away if i can convey joy!!!

‪i need to fill my blog with posts that are just collections of screenshots and photos of things i find beautiful, with or without commentary… i need to write about many things i love, regardless of how embarrassing it might be… this is what i must do!‬

@hikari Considering people typically only share things they’re embarrassed about with people they consider themselves to be close to I’m curious what your viewpoint is towards the wider internet

@hikari Do you consider everyone who sees your content as a close friend? Or do you think only friends will see it? Or are you ok feeling embarrassment from strangers?

@saagar i don't consider most of the people who consume my online output to be my friend

@saagar to be honest the main thing that always used to get to me, and still does, is the thought of (ex-)coworkers seeing particular things.

@saagar i've slowly shifted in what i'm willing to share. many years ago i realised there is a limit to how much of my personality i can suppress online without hating myself, and so i've tried to express more of it and to be less embarrassed about it. there's still stuff that feels like too much of an insight into my soul though for me to want to draw attention to it, and that is why i refused to say who my new profile picture is, for example :p
