your profile pic is your face in the digital realm, with all that implies…
‪the reason i stopped having a haruhi profile pic is that having an upbeat haruhi announcing the name of the sos brigade be my profile pic meant i read that mood and personality into all of my posts, and it didn't feel good because i'm not actually haruhi-type‬
‪can't speak for others but my profile pic must either be a readable face or it must be clearly not a face, and it's almost always an anime girl who i see… something of myself in, i guess. if i showed you a collection of my old pfp's you might figure out how i look irl‬
