i really want there to be a nice little search engine out there that only searches personal blogs and similar things, perhaps with a hand-curated index. hell, it might already exist. i definitely could build this, but i don't think i could maintain it.
i have a lot of project ideas like this that i think could do a lot of good if they were real, that i think i might even have the skills to pull off, but… oh, gods, i am already an open-source maintainer for one forever-project of absurd scope, i can't do it for five.
