wait, if i hate the results of trying to write prose outside of twitter threads, is the solution to just make all my blog posts as twitter threads first? oh no
this must become the year where i become good at long-form writing, so help me gods
@hikari I think that’s fine. You can call it “punchy paragraphs” instead of a “thread” if you want.
@hikari this was how i wrote my fiction until i got more practiced, and it honestly works pretty well
@hikari I find that when I try to write threads (on here or before on twitter) that if it gets longer than 2-3 tweets I need to write it in a text editor first. Maybe that means I should write blog posts that way too?
@hikari OTOH I feel like I don't approach writing a blog post the same way as writing threads on social media (not that I have much experience in either). But I feel I'm more casual on social media. Maybe I should try to bring that feeling to writing blog posts, because this far I've not been very good at it.
