jump to expanded postholy shit, a C/C++ compiler for Vulkan that supports graphics features and doesn't disallow function pointers
it's extremely cool. i feel that kind of envy about it that comes from familiarity with the problem domain and wishing i'd had the ambition
i hope this project is wildly successful. it's a real shame that only apple gpus have been programmable with normal-ish c/c++ for graphics applications, so far
@hikari I donβt know anything about graphics. Is this supposed to work on modern GPUs and be performant
@saagar yes and⦠maybe? i expect they will want you to be careful in how you use it still, and the ideal is obviously where the compiler can effectively make it zero cost
