@hikari I haven’t seen SAC but I’ll note that one of the other reasons to set things in sci-fi is to veil your social critiques enough that you don’t get in trouble for them.
(but sometimes it is just “lasers and computers are neat”)
@hikari they just throw a line like that in between some geopolitics, I was skipping back to give this show a think fairly often. It's got to be a good rewatch. The gits movie was an even better experience on second viewing for me
