seeing a lot of bad advice out there for musicians. if the "peak" indicator isn't lit then this means your song still isn't good enough. ideally it should be lit for the entire duration of the song, this indicates peak compositional excellence
fact: 90% of musicians give up on increasing the gain right before their song is peak!!
@hikari if you aren't redlining then you aren't headlining! so think twice next time before you worry about silly things like "distortion" or "dynamic range". do those sound like they pay your bills?
@fleroviux @hikari I can attest, one time I entered the sunvox song contest with an absolute banger, but it was one of the only tracks that wasn't in the red. it did not win the contest.
