@hikari it is interesting just how much the design of a spelling reform is affected by the proposer's accent. (I would have written a lot more of those letters as schwa, not using the stressed form)

@Kahanis oh, well, i was limiting myself to letters in the russian alphabet, which is the cyrillic alphabet i'm most familiar with. if i'd borrowed some things from other cyrillic alphabets then it would've given a more accurate pronunciation for sure
