a ton of vpn services must be owned or effectively controlled by intelligence agencies. they would be very useful for masking their own operations, right? potentially unmasking others' is just a bonus

@hikari Would make sense. I mean, even Meta bought a VPN company to de-anonymise traffic (in this case to their competitors). Can't imagine the CIA hasn't thought of it.
