you know what, maybe it's okay that my friends have diverse and clashing values. maybe they don't need to agree and worrying about this holds me back. maybe friendship is about keeping people apart as much as it is about bringing them together
like there's no way to win if you try to ensure all your friends would like eachother. you're gonna empoverish yourself with that homogeneity
