hi everyone i've come up with a modest proposal to cut train journey times between germany and sweden what does everyone think
actually if i flip it horizontally so it goes to świnoujście then maybe this project would be approved to better integrate the former warsaw pact,
new fringe political opinion: they should've approved a gedser–rostock link instead of the fehmarn belt tunnel

@hikari On the one hand, making a bunch of extra artifical islands like they did for the bridge between Denmark and Sweden is pretty funny...
But if you're already going as far as needing to cover about 19km of ocean for one of the gaps, just skip the other natural landmasses entirely and do high-speed rail over a ~100km long bridge supported by occasional islands, embrace madness :3
