@hikari Definitely adding this to my watch later playlist, I had a quick look at the video of the level playthrough and those are some pretty phenomenal effects

Big modern day demoscene energy, to somehow wrangle that out of an unmodded 2d game via normal level editor stuff - looking forward to seeing what dark magic took place over those 2 years to make that possible!

@hokaze yeah, demoscene was also the word that came to mind for me

@hikari Just got round to watching it and while "descent into insanity" was largely expected, the specific acts of madness along the way were incredible, with a poignant note on what comes next and managing expectations, that dreadful feeling of having completely something incredible (but unhealthy) and how others may expect you to surpass it

I guessed early on that the level *had* to have some intermediate coding or scripting done as part of assembling the level, but the actual scale and scope was beyond my expectations, and it was cool to see permutations of earlier tricks and illusions reused

@hokaze what's remarkable to me is just how polished the final product is. if you had no context you'd never imagine it had come about by such cursed means
