musicians… you listen to your own music, right?
i sometimes worry that by listening to my wips i'm gonna like… fix the song in my place so it won't change. but actually it might help me identify things i don't like and give me ideas for how to continue it…
listening to your finished works doesn't have this problem, but on the other hand you'll notice all the little things you could've improved and never did
@hikari In writing you don't just write one draft and then edit it until it becomes good. You normally write multiple drafts. So why shouldn't it be the same with music?
Try making it multiple times, and see which attempt you like the best, and what parts you like from the other attempts.
