britain is captured by the fear of trans people in bathrooms because after fifteen years of austerity the idea of a society that builds facilities to accommodate all persons is no longer possible to imagine, and so everything is some horrible fight over scraps
in a just society all toilets are single-stall and inherently gender-neutral.
of course, people shouldn't be bigoted about it to begin with, i just wish people realised that even this ”debate” is symptomatic of a worldview where better things aren't possible
the illusion of choice:
- stop immigration and harass trans people party
vs
- stop immigration and harass trans people and build one (1) affordable semi-detached housing unit(s) per year of up to 20 square meters on a disused industrial site 100 kilometers away from the M25 party
