isn't it weird how normal it is for Europeans to act like temporarily embarrassed Americans. how has the US managed to so completely culturally export itself this way. the UK by comparison is very culturally insular
is there like any comparison for this. the citizens of the Warsaw Pact countries wouldn't have seen themselves as temporarily embarrassed Soviets surely
@hikari I mean... Has the US culturally exported itself or has it mostly culturally exported its European colonisers?
I don't think it's really quite that simple, but I think that's a good place to start.
