do you think ikea would sue me for filling a video game world with 3d models of ikea furniture i stole from their website, or do you think they'd consider it free promotion
(ikea are highest-tier members of the khronos group, the organisation that sets the vulkan and opengl standards, alongside other major tech companies like nvidia, amd, intel, arm, qualcomm, and apple. jokes aside, they are a member because they use the gltf 3d model format.)
âŠi am being told that ikea actually already publish a lot of their 3d models online for free use anyway (not sure under what license). i guess they realised it benefits them!âŽ
