i wonder how many people have already mistakenly bought an m3 macbook thinking it's an apple silicon laptop,,,
@hikari I mean I didn't look into buying a mac ever since I became unable to afford anything at all but I didn't know m3 wasn't apple silicon and now I just googled it and I am surprised by how there is literally no info on wtf the m3 even is
It's not listed with the M1 and M2 so I totally believe you but like... just what is that thing then?

@hikari ooooh there's two M3? That's even weirder why would none of the apple silicon info pages talk about the new M3 if there is one that actually is
this is so confusing, the one time a company actually has a good reason to skip a number and they don't
@KurisuVanEdge yeah, it's funny, apple's naming for their new chips happens to align with intel's old naming for one specific case
