people who know a bit about electronics in music production: any idea why a few Roland and BOSS products have 12V AC inputs? most of their stuff uses the vastly more common 9V DC, and in general low-voltage AC seems like an uncommon thing. is there some reason it'd be useful?
@hikari I have no idea why, I’d just like to add I have an old mic preamp that for some reason also uses 12 AC. I feel it’s maybe some older standard or something?
