the most cringe type of laptop is one with no expandable storage and the most based one would be one with like two dozen microsd slots. who's working on this
willing to accept having like eight m.2 slots alternatively. this must be doable. what else is the space in a laptop for
@hikari bring back laptop thickness from 2004! But this time it's got a mezzanine board full of M.2 connectors.

@hikari shoutout to my Thinkpad L520 with:
2.5" hdd,
optional 2.5" hdd caddy instead of optical drive,
dedicated mSata ssd slot onboard,
ExpressCard slot for an optional NVME ssd caddy,
AND a fullsize SD reader
(and an admittedly useless eSata plug).
Also two ram slots and a socketed cpu.
I still use it with Win10 in my workshop for CNC stuff.
It's like a storage clown car.
