[crossposting from twitter 6 hours late]
[another crosspost from twitter 6 hours late, took this one a bit earlier and it was a reply to one of my mutuals while discussing my modern potato phone with a 2000's-ass camera]
its gettin dark enough that theres super obvious grain this is peak
the cranes look less exciting during the day with this camera. wish i could convey what a wonderful shade of red they have, it's a treat
honestly too tempted to get some camera with a real zoom lens just to take photos of these cranes
there's a multi-floor electronics store with windows right onto alexanderplatz selling both “system cameras” (ones with interchangeable lenses) and uhh whatever sony cybershots are called. i tried one with 8x optical zoom. it was So Tempting but i am not dropping €1k on this
@hikari in the pre-smartphone era, i had a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ6, a point-and-shoot with a 12X optical zoom, and it was incredible
i took these photos over 14 years ago from the same spot!
@Ninji oh it's interesting how i can kinda tell the photo is old from the colours but it's more detailed than i would expect
