@hikari I finished reading that and...wow! this is exactly how I feel about contributing to making technology which is free of monopolies, which empowers users, which is as good, if not better, than corporate offerings, about the ability of the world of eventually getting past this AI is indispensible like god bullshit, of a world without monopolies, a society built on abundance, instead of artificial scarcity designed for the powerful to subjugate and control the powerless, etc etc. I'm for sure not gonna be able to do all this stuff on my own, but I'm trying to do my part, especially when it comes to making linux desktop programs and tools be designed with accessibility in mind, so that everyone could enjoy the freedom equally, that's why me and other people are trying to make a linux screenreader from scratch in rust, to see if a clean slate would give us even more speed and more powerful features for our community. I don't know how to put it into words, that hope, but you nailed it on the head, thx
