finally know how to remember the RCA jack colours
vit är vänster
red is right
white is also neutral (mono! when only this jack is connected, or only this jack is present)

@hikari that's basically how i remember, except for some reason i also remember that usually VCR's that don't support stereo only have a yellow and white jack (although the NES has a red jack so that doesn't always work)
Oh and also that sound only comes out of my left speaker with mono audio sources unless i do a little trickery on my pc (mono became the left channel)
@wyatt8740 yes, white is mono on its own, or provides mono if red is unconnected, typically
