they say that if you react to a coworker's message with ❓ the emoji will disappear after a second or two and a voice will whisper their true name to you
if you hold up a ❓ sign at a protest it will blink out of existence and you will suddenly know the apparently incomprehensible sequence of six latin letters that god assigned to the current speaker's existence
i don't know why kira from death note had to try so hard to figure out L's real name he could've just ❓'d him and five seconds later a heart attack would have ended the manga right there and then
