i am once again BEGGING you if you have any interest in music to get yourself a small instrument you can just grab and play whenever in a maximally convenient way

in my case i am a (bad) keyboardist and i have a little yamaha 37-mini-keys thing with speakers and batteries that sits in my lap and even though i have other instruments and bigger keyboards i find myself constantly drawn to it because it's SO easy to just PLAY whenever

this is not the specific keyboard i have but from what i've seen i can highly recommend it: you should get a Yamaha PSS-A50 it's like 100 bucks it's a tiny little keyboard that's self-contained and fun and tons of features and also a MIDI controller

i might actually just let myself get a PSS-A50 too it's so small and cheap that i can't possibly regret it
