the fact 🙏 means both hope and gratitude makes me wonder if hope is just gratitude projected into the future, and if gratitude is just hope projected into the past
“thanks in advance”, then, is hope projected into the future past

@hikari I think under the OCC emotional model, hope is satisfaction projected into the future.
But OCC is kinda... Like it's useful in affective computing because it's, well, computable. But it's computable because it's really simplistic.
