it's such a shame they never made a ninth star wars movie. they couldn't. not after star wars was eaten by an owl (the third largest owl in the world)
i'm not kidding at all about the dissociating thing. i've been more or less emotionally numb to the star wars series ever since the day i went to see it with friends. and the reason is that, well, that film mocks you for caring to begin with. and i don't want to lose that naïveté
disney are dream merchants and i am a romantic who loves a dream. do they know what they did. i don't think they do
also it's essentially plagiarism of Iron Sky (2012) lmfao

@hikari it is a Star Wars TV show that really rewards caring about it.
Espionage procedural in the early rebellion, lovely costume design and sets, takes the pieces of the world very seriously. (Puts you back in a context where a single TIE-fighter is terrifying, stuff like that).
@hikari They did, but for some reason they decided to package 8 and 9 as one movie.
(Seriously, The Last Jedi should have been two movies, though.)
