ah, so that's the true shape of my trauma, huh… that would explain many things
type of person who is easily confident about themselves in 1:1 interactions and before a wider audience, but who is more vulnerable in a group setting (me)
(the flipside of the vulnerability is when it goes really well it tends to get to my head, y'know. i like having friends)
i wonder, is there a person who's the opposite? do some people find fitting in with a group really easy but find one-to-one interactions incredibly anxiety-inducing, due to some different configuration of traumas?

@whitequark if i were to phrase it as “finding just one person who deeply understands you is not enough to heal” would that be less objectionable? it's closer to what i meant
