sometimes it feels like a particularly memorable and easy to play chord progression is holding me hostage. like it won't let me go until i write and produce an entire song around it. and maybe not even then
in particular the way it holds me hostage is that it traps me in a mental loop without resolution. this is a common pitfall for me with chord progressions
i desperately need to buy and read a music theory book of some kind it's the only way i'll break out of this. ideally a single comprehensive book covering all the things, i don't want to buy ten
