i guess the starting point for whether i trust someone politically is whether they would agree with the statement “capitalism is a faustian bargain”. the most annoying type of socialist and the most annoying type of (neo)liberal both disagree that there is a bargain to begin with
but i don't really like talking about politics online these days. this kind of politics, anyway
