holy shit my laptop has more than 100GB of free space suddenly. and i didn't have to commit crimes against my own memory and resilience to get there. the space crisis is actually beginning to wind down. the plan is working
that's actually enough free space that dual-booting linux from the internal ssd becomes reasonable…
