i am once again marvelling at how bluesky has something better than “verification”, i can tell if a post is legitimate by looking at the domain name. ”socialdemokraterna.se” is in fact the Swedish Social Democrats' domain name, so… this is real! wow

i really like that it's fundamentally democratic and independently verifiable, e.g. touchHLE is not notable enough to be able to get“verified” by a site like twitter, and how would they verify it anyway? “touchhle.org” however is well-established and meaningful
