finally having my “buying and listening to music” phase but this time the music i'm buying and listening to is actually good? anyone heard of this

i'm not going to preach at you about the virtues of buying music, it just happens to be convenient for me personally and it feels good, but i will say that having to go out of your way to actually “obtain” an entire “album” does change your relationship to it in a good way

‪my favourite album of all time is probably still “Nexus-2060” by “CAPSULE” btw. honestly it's mostly because of a single song that i'm still in love with, but i love the way that particular album is a “concept” not just a collection of songs‬

put it another way: “obtaining” whole albums by “other” means is probably better than listening to stuff exclusively via spotify or youtube
