holy shit guitars are so incredibly fucking cool
(girls when they try an electric guitar for the first time) (i'm girls)
the things you can just DO with your FINGERS it's like the opposite of a piano it's SO DEEP the depths of possibility the versatility the infinitely high skill ceiling with the electric guitar it's all just IMPOSSIBLE TO CONVEY it is such a fucking instrument it's the IOAT
it's simultaneously EASIER to play than piano for what i want to do and yet just absurdly, unimaginably more expressive and tactile and INTERESTING
it's also the instrument that'll force me to let go of perfectionism and instead embrace the virtue of practice because there is no way to hide your mistakes on these
