my gf has the disease that prevents her from meowing :(
this is way more disruptive than it sounds, a meow gives an emotional reassurance that words cannot give, you only notice what you have when it's gone i guess
i have to make a conscious intervention to override my reflexive interpretation of the absence of a meow
