i have a distressing amount of brainworms about ownership of physical objects
one of them is that owning something feels like a commitment to making full use of it; i have some music gear i keep wanting to sell because i feel like i'll never invest the time to be worthy of them
‪there's one synth in particular that i know would offer a whole world of very exciting possibilities if i invest the time into it, but so far it hasn't worked well for me and i want to sell it so i'll feel able to invest time in other stuff instead, yet i hesitate…‬
@hikari yeah i struggle(d) with that too. it sucks. my therapist pointed out to me a while ago that people buy things they don't use all the time and it helped
