if i hear another person call MIDI “digital sheet music” then i… will not actually snap but it definitely serves as a reminder i need to write about it
@hikari I understand it’s not 1:1 and does not encode everything in a way helpful to render as sheet music but imo that is a ten trillion percent better introduction than “a tracker format” which means nothing to 99% of humans and itself needs to be defined — as, well, digital sheet music, inevitably.
